SOCMA Connect’s 6th Annual Washington Fly-In

There aremore than 80newly-electedCongress members, following the 2012 election. Now, they need to hear from you on the issues that impact the chemical industry, according to the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates (SOCMA). Touch base with these officials at SOCMA Connect’s 6th Annual Washington Fly-In, April 9-10, 2013 in Washington, DC.

In other news, SOCMA recently welcomed 13 new members, including four Italian companies and a major oilfield services company, which are looking to utilize SOCMA’s resources to network and market their businesses. The new members were approved by SOCMA’s board of governors during meetings in late 2012.

“We are pleased to welcome this group of new member companies, which demonstrates the diversity and strength of SOCMA’s membership,” said SOCMA president and CEO Lawrence D. Sloan. “Our services and expertise in the specialty chemical industry continue to have value for companies throughout the world, and we encourage our incoming members to take full advantage of all we have to offer.”
