June 1 Deadline for de Navarre Young Scientist Prize

April 4, 2013

• The IFSCC has opened the competition for the Maison G. de Navarre Young Scientists Prize, which is granted each year to enable a young cosmetic chemist to attend an IFSCC Conference. The winner will be invited to attend the 2013 IFSCC Conference in Rio de Janiero, Brazil in October.

Any member of a member society of the IFSCC can apply; normally those under age 35 may apply. The applicant should submit an essay (500-3000 words) on the following topics: The IFSCC—what does the Federation mean to you-how can it be improved?; How does your local cosmetic society help and support you in your career?; How can cosmetic science technology save the world?; or Green cosmetic products-how can we ensure they are really eco-friendly?

The deadline is due electronically by June 1, according to IFSCC.
