Evonik Extracts Honored At Industry Events

• CHINA & FRANCE: Evonik’s Tego Arjuna S was selected as an innovative product in the anti-aging category at the 2013 China Personal Care & Cosmetics Innovation Awards at PCHi 2013 in the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center.

Tego Arjuna S is a standardized plant extract of pentacyclic triterpenes from the bark of the Arjuna tree that safely combats hormonal aging without influencing estrogen receptor activity.

The 2013 China Personal Care & Cosmetics Innovation Awards is co-organized by Ringier Trade Media and Happi China, and Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions and PCHi 2013.

Also, Tego Stemlastin, a standardized red algae extract, was awarded as one of the innovative products in the category naturals/actives In-Cosmetics in Paris.

Tego Stemlastin is unique in its capability to produce GABA. It is produced in a natural, eco-friendly way using a photo bio-reactor, according to the company. It has activity on epidermal stem cells and elastic fibers.
