P&G Patents Unit Dose Dish Detergent

• US 8,431,517 B2; The Procter & Gamble Company has patented an automatic dishwashing detergent unit dose composition that contains a combination of a polyvalent metal compound (hydrozincite) and a low foaming, nonionic surfactant having a cloud point less than about 32°C. The  combination exhibits improved glassware corrosion protection for at least 50 cycles in an automatic dishwasher and in a bleaching system. The automatic dishwashing detergent composition is contained in a multi-compartment water-soluble pouch.
