Lifestyle Expert Creates Beauty Business Camp for Teens

August 2, 2013

Beauty BizCamp Inc.—designed to expose teens to the breadth of careers across the beauty spectrum—has been started by Corynne Corbett, beauty and lifestyle expert who has held positions at Elle, Real Simple and Essence.

Through this non-profit pipeline program, individuals will have access to experts in the field and learn a variety of topics that will inspire them to redefine the face of beauty and become the next generation of leaders across the beauty industry. Three sessions were scheduled this summer.

“I want the beauty industry to reflect the needs and voices of all women but that can only happen if we are prepared to obtain a seat at the table,” said Corbett. “My goal is to be a driving force in cultivating the next generation of beauty leaders and I believe that providing this platform is an essential step in making that happen.”
