Procedure | |
Add hot water to main container and begin moderate propeller agitation. Sprinkle in MAS 102, mix well for a minimum of one hour. Begin heating to 80°C. Add remaining A ingredients, mixing well after each addition. In a separate container premix B, add premix to main tank. Continue heating and maintain temperature at 80°C. In a separate container premix C and heat to 75°C. When both main tank and C are 75°C, slowly add C to main tank with homogenization. When batch appears uniform, turn off heat. Switch to side sweep at 60°C. Continue sweep throughout cool-down. When batch reaches below 40°C add D to the main container, mix well after each addition. | |
