In addition to supporting women’s cooperatives in democratic Benin, West Africa, shea butter line Out of Africa supports School Children Unite/Benin Education Fund & Shine On Sierra Leone. School Children Unite/Benin Education Fund focuses on the educational enrichment for school-aged children while providing medical care. Shine On Sierra Leone, an organization increasing access to all levels of education with initiatives including primary education, adult literacy, computer literacy, micro lending and maternal and child health care.
