Swiffer Teams Up with Bissell

September 4, 2013

P&G product engineers teamed up to develop Swiffer Bissell Steamboost, a new device that leverages the capabilities of Swiffer and Bissell Homecare Inc., the global floor care appliance company.

The steam’s heat activates the dirt-dissolving solution in the cleaning pad. This chemistry breaks down dirt and, using Swiffer technology, traps and locks it away, providing a visibly better clean. In addition to activating the cleaning solution, the steam’s heat releases fresh scents like Open Window and Lavender Vanilla and Comfort from the cleaning pads, providing a pleasant aroma. Once all of the dirt and soils are trapped in the cleaning pads, they can easily be tossed away.

According to Procter & Gamble, Swiffer Bissell Steamboost is safe to use on a variety of surfaces, including marble, stone, ceramic tile, vinyl, linoleum, finished hardwood and laminate flooring.
