Hair Dye Uses Chromene, Chromane Dyes

US Patent No. 8,518,126 B2; L’Oréal, Paris, has patented a process for dyeing hair that includes composition comprising one or more dyes chosen from chromene dyes and chromane dyes and a composition comprising one or more zinc mineral salts. The compositions are two distinct compositions or forming a single composition. The process excludes any use of a chemical oxidizing agent other than the oxygen in the air.
