Water-Based Cleaner And Polishing Product

US Patent No. 8,541,353 B2; John D. Blizzard, Bay City, MI, has patented a water-based cleaning and polishing product consisting of an hydroxy endblocked polydimethylsiloxane having an average viscosity of about 20 to 90cs at 25°C.; a wax component selected from the group consisting of paraffin wax, carnuba wax, and blends of those; at least one thickening agent; and water.

The wax component is in a nonionic or cationic emulsion form and the thickening agent addition to the formulation is pH controlled.
