Procedure
In the main kettle, disperse Ultrathix P-100 into phase A with rapid mixing, mix for 15 minutes or until free of lumps, then heat to 70-75°C. Grind/blend phase B until uniform, then add to phase A while rapid mixing. In a separate vessel, heat phase C to 75-80°C and mix well. Slowly add phase C to phase A with medium mixing until a smooth emulsion is formed. Start to cool. Continue mixing on medium speed, scraping sides often. Add phase D, when temperature is at our below 35°C, continue mixing and cooling to 25°C.

Properties
pH—6.0 ± 0.3; Viscosity—430,000 cps ± 10% (RVT/TE/0.6rpm); Stability—1 month at 50°C.
