Fusion Packaging has recently finished a new collaboration with skin care brand Peter Thomas Roth. Fusion developed packaging for the Camu Camu Power C X 30 Brightening Moisturizer. The package utilizes a double-walled airless jar to protect the sensitive vitamin C in the formulation—Amazonian berry, camu camu—said to contain 30 times more vitamin C than an orange.
The brand opted for an airless jar, which uses an actuator to push product to the surface instead of a traditional jar that requires consumers to use their fingers or a spatula to get the product out. This unique package type eliminates cross-contamination with the added airless benefits of product preservation and improved evacuation rates, according to Fusion.
The 15ml jar has shelf appeal with a silver UV metallized and silk-screened overcap and the double-walled effect provides a luxurious look in a unique orange shade, said the company. The moisturizer can be purchased through the brand’s website, or in Sephora’s new Camu Camu Power C X 30 Anti-Wrinkle Brightening Kit.
