Bosley Launches Dry Shampoo for Thinning Hair

February 7, 2014

This hair care SKU offers many benefits.
A new volumizing dry shampoo from Bosley ($19.95) is formulated with DHT inhibitors to help maintain healthy hair and scalp, contends the company. Ideal for fine and thinning hair, the unique formula extends the length of your color by extending the time between washes. Dirt, excess oil and product buildup are absorbed without making hair feel weighed down.

As an added bonus, this dry shampoo provides UV protection that not only defends hair against photo-aging but also helps to stimulate the metabolic function of cells, said the company. Key ingredients include tapioca starch, a soft after-feel cleanser that absorbs oil to cleanse hair; archillea millefolium (yarrow) extract, said to effectively remove excess oils and give hair volume and fullness; quercus alba bark (white oak) extract, a gentle cleanser and DHT inhibitor; and serenoa serrulata fruit (saw palmetto) extract, another DHT inhibitor that helps maintain healthy hair and scalp, among other components.
