Bell Flavors and Fragrances: welcomed new hires at its headquarters in Northbrook, IL. The new appointments underline the company’s commitment to grow its global fragrance business.
Marvel Fields was appointed senior perfumer. She brings to Bell significant creative and technical perfumery experience, including a deep understanding of fine fragrances, beauty care and functional products, as well as an impressive track record of success in the market place. Marvel has worked for both Mane and Fragrance Resources, experiencing success both in collaboration and as an independent perfumer. More recently, Marvel has consulted for a number of leading fragrance houses. She is also a former chairman and president of the American Society of Perfumers.
Fabio Azevedo was appointed as Bell’s senior account director for fragrances. He comes to Bell from IFF where he spent 23 years beginning in marketing in Brazil all the way to senior account director overseeing Bell’s most important key accounts. Azevedo has experience in developing brand solutions and strategic consulting in category innovation and market intelligence, developing a fragrance vision for clients particularly in the personal care and home care segments.
Bell has recently promoted Kelli Heinz to director of marketing and industry affairs. In her new role, she will be coordinating Bell’s marketing teams in North America, South America, Mexico, Asia Pacific and China to establish a communication and marketing network between the responsible markets. Heinz will also maintain Bell’s professional relationships with industry associations, including local, state and federal agencies, trade associations and media to increase awareness of Bell Flavors & Fragrances and show support for the flavor and fragrance industry.
Heinz is currently on the board of directors for the WFFC Chicago chapter, a program committee chair for FEMA (Flavor & Extract Manufacturing Association) and on the communications committee for IFRA NA (International Fragrance Association North America).
