Evan Alexay, a 15-year-old high school student from Teaneck, NJ, is the young man behind launched Spikez Galore, a new hair products company specializing in products for men.

“Hair gels attracted my interest at about age 13 when I cut my long hair and started using gels. They all caused annoying breakouts and when I heard the same thing from my friends, I started researching gel formulation to try to understand why. One thing led to another and soon I was buying ingredients and mixing them in my mom’s kitchen. After about a year of trial and error, I hit on a new formulation that was safe, gave great results, and didn’t produce breakouts.”

Alexay plans to launch his second product, a hair wax, this month.
