US Patent No. 8,642,527 B2; The Clorox Company has patented an aqueous solution for substrate cleaning. It is comprised of an aqueous solution of a source of oxidant, wherein said oxidant is sodium hypochlorite; optically functional nanoparticles; oxidant-stable polymer; oxidant-stable surfactant; and water. The plurality of optically functional nanoparticles are visibly colored particles exhibiting at least one optical absorbance and providing a human perceivable color to the aqueous solution.
