Color Changing Cleaning Composition

US Patent No. 8,680,032 B2; Clariant Finance (BVI) Limited, Tortola, Virgin Islands, has patented a color-changing cleaning composition.

It contains microencapsulated colorant granules consisting of a core and a shell, whereby the core has a diameter of between 1 and 1000 micrometer and comprises a colorant, microcrystalline cellulose, a polyol and a polymer selected from the group consisting of polycarboxylic acids, copolymers of polycarboxylic acids, vinyl polymers, cellulose and cellulose derivatives. The shell further comprises a white pigment.
