Nest Fragrances rolled out the Blue Garden Luxury Gift Set

May 2, 2014

Nest Fragrances rolled out the Blue Garden Luxury Gift Set to benefit Autism Speaks. The set will be at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and select specialty boutiques across the US, and will also be available for Mother’s Day, according to the luxury candle and fragrance specialist.

“Our Blue Garden Luxury Gift Set celebrates Autism Awareness Month and Mother’s Day with a fragrance so beautiful it reminds us that, no matter what challenges we are faced with, there are so many wonderful things in life for which we are grateful,” said Laura Slatkin, founder and CEO of Nest Fragrances. Slatkin is also a board member of Autism Speaks and has a son who was diagnosed with autism.

In 2006, Slatkin co-founded her own non-profit organization, New York Collaborates for Autism, shortly after her son, David, was diagnosed as being severely autistic. In 2010, Laura created the Blue Garden Candle in honor of David and to benefit Autism Speaks.
Slatkin is embarking on a national tour, visiting Neiman Marcus stores in cities in which there are Autism Speaks Walks. She will be making personal appearances  in King of Prussia, PA; Chicago; Atlanta; Beverly Hills; Coral Gables, FL and St. Louis.
