May 2, 2014

DuPont Tate & Lyle Bio Products Company LLC applauds Cheryl Lee MD, Sensitive Skin Care, for launching the TrueLipids line of therapeutic, hypoallergenic and non-toxic skin care products made with Zemea propanediol. The patent-pending line of TrueLipids products are all designed to work with the skin to augment its own repair mechanisms in fixing a disrupted skin barrier, to discourage the colonization/growth of S. aureus, and to optimize skin lipid production while being  hypoallergenic and non-toxic.

Zemea propanediol is a natural, 100% biobased ingredient made through fermentation of corn glucose and developed for use in the cosmetics and personal care market. It is approved as a natural ingredient by Ecocert and the Natural Products Association, is certified 100% biobased by the US Department of Agriculture and has both Kosher and Halal certifications.
