LaCorte’s 30-45 day anthropological field research treks enables her to identify emerging cultural and consumer insights, novel ingredients and unique consumer rituals for clients seeking new product development, packaging/design technology or business opportunities. Her findings are presented as proprietary written reports and in-person presentations.
Through mid-2014, La Corte’s treks have taken her to Brazil (five states) and she is currently traveling through Asia, with stops planned for China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Singapore. For Autumn 2014, La Corte is considering India, The Middle East or South Africa.
During her travels, she reviews a variety of consumer product and OTC segments, including air care, baby care, color cosmetics, feminine health, hair care, household, men’s grooming, nutritionals, oral care, packaging, pain remedies, skin care, sun care and upper respiratory.
