The newest chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, Michigan, has set aside Sept. 3-4 for its “Future of Beauty” symposia.
The event, which will be held at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids, will include the following speakers: Janet Blaschke “Regulatory aspects of non-traditional preservatives;” Mohamed Omer of Mintel, “The future of beauty: trends and innovations to watch;” Rebecca Gadberry of YG Laboratories, “The future trends in cosmetic and personal care ingredients;” and Howard Epstein of EMD Millipore Corp., “The future of testing and ethnic skin care.”
On Sept. 3, there is a social event planned at the Frederick Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids.
