BASF named Dirk Mampe as vice president

BASF: named Dirk Mampe as vice president of its Personal Care Europe business unit. He is responsible for the regional business management of personal care specialties, and is therefore in charge of steering the marketing, product management and sales activities.

Mampe succeeds Thomas Schröder, who has been named senior vice president of the regional Nutrition & Health Europe business unit within the Nutrition & Health business division.

Mampe is a chemistry graduate and knows the personal care business unit well, having spent the past 10 years working for Cognis in various positions. He has been with BASF since the company acquired Cognis in 2010.
