BRAZIL: Cruelty Free International in Brazil says it has achieved a huge breakthrough as a bill to ban all animal testing in Brazil on cosmetics passed the Assembly in early June.
“We congratulate the Assembly for passing this historical Bill to end the cruel use of animals in cosmetics testing. The support of hundreds of thousands of Brazilians made this possible and we’d like to thank everyone for helping in this campaign,” said Cruelty Free International Brazil campaign manager, Frank Alarcon.
The Bill now moves to the Senate, according to the organization.
