Tide has become the official Wardrobe Care Partner of Shakespeare in the Park

July 2, 2014

New York City’s Public Theater has trusted Tide to care for its costumes for years and now, for the first time, Tide has become the official Wardrobe Care Partner of Shakespeare in the Park, a summer tradition since 1962 where more than five million people have enjoyed more than 150 free productions of Shakespeare and other classical works and musicals at the Delacorte Theater.

The first-of-its-kind partnership marks the formalization of the relationship between the two historic entities.

“We are honored to partner with The Public Theater and help keep the costumes for this season’s shows in great shape,” said Karen Schlosser, associate marketing director, Tide. “The Public has been trusting Tide backstage for years and we know that from the big stages of New York City to the little stages of everyday life, Tide can be trusted to keep beloved garments like costumes looking great.”
