Procedure
In the main container, add the buffer system— citric acid and trisodium citrate dihydrate—to the water and mix until completely solubilized. Add the remaining ingredients of water phase into the main container and mix after each addition until completely homogeneous. Heat the water phase until 75-80°C. Weigh all ingredients from the oil phase and heat until 75-80°C. Add to the water phase and homogenize for 20 minutes at 75-80°C at moderate speed. Stop heating and keep mixing until the batch is cooled down to about 40°C.
