New Silicone Offers Texture Transformation

August 1, 2014

A pioneer in the field of silicones for personal care products, the latest creations at Shin-Etsu Silicones of America (SESA) are emulsifying elastomers, KSG-210/KSG-710, and KF co-emulsifiers.

According to the company, KSG-210 is an excellent W/O emulsifier with a light, fresh feel; with a transforming “cream to water” texture. It creates novel textures when combined with non-emulsifying crosspolymers, waxes, film formers and powders. KSG-210 has versatile applications—from skin care to sun care to hair care and color cosmetics.
