THAILAND: Employees from Henkel’s Beauty Care plant in Yamahatsu, Thailand visited the Ban Pa Por Sahapattanasueksa School in Northeast Thailand to donate computers, and teach the children about sustainability and social issues. In addition, the team spent time giving basic computer lessons to the children and teaching them about sustainability. In addition, they raised awareness about social issues such as safety and drug protection. Henkel employees concluded their day by sharing lunch with the children.
“The benefit of this project is to give less-privileged children the same opportunities to learn. It provides the children with a new experience and gives them a chance to explore beyond their classrooms,” said Ben van den Hende, corporate vice president, supply chain, beauty care, Henkel Asia-Pacific.
