RB Patents Low Temperature Auto Dish Detergent

US Patent No. 9,540,591 B2; Reckitt Benckiser has patented an automatic dishwash detergent composition that is comprised of at least one low temperature emulsifying surfactant; an oxidation catalyst; and at least one enzyme present. The emulsifying surfactant is selected from the following formula: R—CO—NMe-CH2—CH2—SO3—X.
R is a saturated or unsaturated, straight or branched, alkyl chain of between 6 and 18 carbons and X is a positively charged counter ion. The composition is suitable for low temperature cleaning at less than or equal to 50°C.
