INOLEX: continues to add to its research and development team. Jiangmin Chen, PhD, joined the R&D team as synthesis chemist. Chen brings more than five years of industrial pharmaceutical medicinal chemistry collaboration experience to the team.
Zongyu Zhang, PhD, has joined the R&D team as research scientist. Bringing several years of experience in one of the largest cosmetic companies in China, Shanghai Jahwa. Zhang will also be responsible for coordinating the testing projects globally in the new Guanghzou microbiology lab to support development and sales of alternative preservation solutions.
The company also hired Joseph Liptock as a part of its global sales team. He is technical account director responsible for servicing Western US accounts. Previously, he was director of research and development at Kate Somerville, where he managed the technical development of high-end cosmetics.
The company also made personnel additions at its “Center of Excellence” in Guangzhou, China. Anna Gao recently joined in the role of account manager, East of China. Prior to her new position at Inolex, she held several marketing and sales engineer roles in the beauty care industry, most recently with Bronson & Jacobs.
Mengru Li joined the Guangzhou lab as a microbiologist. She holds a Masters of Engineering in aquatic products processing and a BS in Engineering in food science and engineering. Her research in microbiology and molecular biology will be fundamental to the operations of the lab, said the firm.
Jane Xiong, who has a background in chemical engineering and technology, is now an application manager. Xiong, who had been manager of R&D at Guangzhou Sheencolor Cosmetic Co., holds numerous patents in the field of cosmetics.
