The Sustainable Cleaning Products Summit (sustainablecleaningsummit.com) will feature bio-based surfactants, ethical labels, green formulations, and marketing developments. Organized by Ecovia Intelligence, the fourth edition of this executive summit will take place in Paris Nov. 8-9. The two-day program includes two workshops and conference sessions.
Krister Solmberg, professor of surface chemistry at Chalmers University of Technology, will lead a workshop on bio-based surfactants. Amarjit Sahota, founder and president of Ecovia Intelligence (formerly Organic Monitor) will give an update on green standards and certification schemes. Timothy Glaz from Werner & Merz will share the brand’s experiences with ethical labels. Lene Still, CEO of Allergy Certified, will give details of allergens in detergents and cleaning products, and show how brands can get certified products. Laure Cucuron of TerraCycle Europe, will explain how home care brands can close their packaging loops. Candice Kaisermann from the University of Manchester will give details of a new technology that aims to improve production efficiency of green surfactants. Angello Kostandas from Givaudan will give an update on green fragrances for home care products.
