Procedure | |
PART A: Using overhead mixer and marine blade, add Disodium EDTA to Water and mix until fully dissolved. Slowly add PemulenTM EZ-4U polymeric emulsifier to Part A with mixing. Continue mixing until fully dispersed and hydrated.Add glycerin to Part A and mix until homogenous. In a separate vessel, combine Part B ingredients and mix until solution is clear. Add Part B to Part A and mix until homogenous. Homogenize batch for 1min @ 10,000rpm using Ultra-Turrax homogenizer model T25 (IKA). Return the batch to overhead mixing and add Part C ingredients one at a time ensuring good mixing between additions. Increase mixing speed as needed to ensure homogeneity. | |
