Perricone MD: tapped Ron Fugate as its new chief executive officer. He has led multiple private equity and family-owned mid-market CPG companies, taking them through transformational growth and subsequent successful sale to strategic acquirers.
Most recently, Fugate served as CEO of Renew Life, a Swander Pace-backed provider of natural products for digestive health, where he led the brand through a $290 million sale to Clorox in May 2016. Prior to Renew Life, he was hired by Catterton in 2013 to serve as the president of YoCrunch, which led to its sale to Danone. From 2006 to 2012, Fugate served as the CEO of Alacer (the producer of Emergen-C), which led to its sale to Pfizer.
