Drom: reports that 22 years after taking his initial position as global account manager at Drom Paris, Bertrand Lemont has returned as the new president of Drom North America. In his new position, Lemont drives Drom’s strategy for the US and Mexico and is responsible for all related customers, as well as future business development.
Lemont, who started his career at Kao Corporation in France in 1994, can look back on more than two decades of experience in the fragrance and beauty industry spanning a range of product categories. Most recently, he served as an industry consultant, using his in-depth market knowledge to support a variety of organizations, from investment funds to large beauty companies, in their creative process development and fragrance strategy.
After joining the sales team of International Flavors & Fragrances France in 2000, he was transferred to the New York fine fragrance sales team in 2002 and has held several managing positions within IFF since then.
Throughout his career he has been managing fine fragrance accounts such as Estée Lauder, Yves Rocher, L’Oréal, Unilever Prestige, Coty and Avon, among others, and also has extensive experience in leading global creative and innovation teams.
