Eastman Chemical Company’s tertiary amines (DIMLA) units located at its Taminco facilities in Ghent, Belgium and Pace, FL have received Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil Mass Balance (RSPO-MB) certification. Tertiary amines are used primarily to make surfactants for personal and home care products.
“At Eastman, we understand the importance of sustainability and recognize that this certification is valuable to our customers. In 2017, we committed to achieving certification, and we are very pleased to receive approval from RSPO,” said Robert Ash, product director-care chemicals. “We look forward to supplying our customers with RSPO-MB certified DIMLA.”
Taminco is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eastman Chemical Company.
