Procedure | |
Add Phase A to vessel with mixing while heating to a temperature of 80°C. Mix until a clear solution is obtained. In separate vessel, add Phase B with mixing while heating to a temperature of 75°C. Mix until uniform and a yellowish milky liquid is obtained. Add Phase B to Phase A with mixing. Homogenize the emulsion. Pre-disperse Xanthan Gum in Glycerin of Phase C. Then continuously add water of Phase C with mixing. As soon as a clear, clump-free solution is obtained, add Phase C to the hot Phase AB emulsion and homogenize. Cool Phase ABC down to 45ºC with mixing. Adjust pH to 4.5-5.5 by adding acid or base, as necessary. Add Phase D to Phase ABC with mixing. Homogenize. | |
