During In-Cosmetics Europe 2016, Sun Chemical (stand K90) will showcase a wide range of pearlescent, as well as bright and bold pigments, for skin care and personal care formulations as well as decorative cosmetics.

"Cosmetic formulators are always looking for stand out colors that are sure to please consumers, while at the same time meeting the highest purity standards and specifications of all global regulations in the market," said Kelly Dobos, cosmetics technical manager, Sun Chemical Performance Pigments. "Sun Chemical's pigments do that and more. Our pigments and dyes can also be used in skin care and personal care products, which can play a critical role in selling the body wash, liquid soap and face wash on store shelves. It can also satisfy the latest consumer trends, like glitter hair and multifunctional skin care products."

The SunCroma line of pigments and dyes includes a wide range of bright, bold colors. Compliant with all global regulations governing their intended use, the SunCroma line offers a vast portfolio of chemistries and color spaces for not only all decorative cosmetic applications, but also skin care and personal care products. SunCroma pigments and dyes can be used to communicate product efficacy by reinforcing hero ingredients and ultimately developing personal care formulations that stand out from the crowd on store shelves.

Sun's SunShine line of pure synthetic mica-based pearlescent pigment colors range from silver and gold metallic effects to bright, sparkling accents in green and blue. They provide some of the lowest residual heavy metals levels available in the market, according to Sun, and their transparency, luster, chroma, broad range of particle sizes, and smoothness make them ideally suited for use in all finished product formulations, including effects that can take skin and hair care formulations from bland to bold.
