Learn more about this blue-light scavenger at stand E18.

Artificial visible light emitted by smartphones, tablets and laptops acts an additional environmental stress on the skin. For the first time, this screen-emitted artificial visible light has been precisely characterized by Gattefossé (stand E18), and unique equipment accurately recreates the light emitted by screens. Results show that exposure to screen light damages the energetic machinery of skin cells and weakens their mobility and communication properties, resulting in an increased cellular fatigue. At the skin surface, the complexion appears faded and lacks vitality.

Gattefosse's new EnergiNius is said to protect skin cells from screen-emitted artificial visible light. The mitochondrial network is preserved from fragmentation, allowing full normalization of ATP production. The mobility and communication properties of fibroblasts are no longer affected by screen light exposure. Strongly reinforced, the skin is visibly revived and the signs of fatigue disappear. Clinically tested by over 200 panelists, its efficacy has been clearly perceived on Asian and Caucasian skins.

Derived from Indian Ginseng (Withania somnifera) roots, EnergiNius is organic certified and obtained using the highly innovative NaDES technology. Its phytochemical composition (withanolids and amino acids) supports its high level of efficacy. Watch the video to discover how this new ingredient fights digital pollution.
