Highly Viscous Creams Are Now Pipettable

Visit Eppendorf at stand J158.

To this day, highly viscous liquids such as creams, lotions, shampoo, toothpaste or nail polish are processed almost exclusively with the help of spoons and other similar tools in the laboratory and for analytical purposes. These requirements cause tremendous delays to analysis and mixing procedures during the development process. The new ViscoTip from Eppendorf (J158) for the associated multipette instrument is purportedly capable of processing tough liquids such as creams with viscosities of up to 14,000 mPa*s precisely and quickly.
