Yankee Candle Named the Official Candle for CMA Awards

2006-10-23 | 03:12

Country Music's Biggest Night just got a little brighter. This year's 40th Annual CMA Awards will bask in the fragrant glow of Yankee Candles as Yankee Candle has been named the official candle brand of The CMA Awards. “Yankee Candle is very proud to be named the official candle of the CMA Awards," said Rick Ruffolo, senior vice president of Brand, Marketing and Innovation for Yankee Candle. “We're pleased to support the Country Music Association and to help celebrate America's music with the fans, nominees, presenters, and performers at The 40th Annual CMA Awards. We know many Country Music fans already are loyal Yankee Candle consumers.” Mr. Ruffolo indicated that the CMA performers and presenters including Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Keith Urban, and Kenny Chesney will be among the first to experience the brand new holiday Sparkling Vanilla Housewarmer jar candles backstage during the show. These candles will provide just the right mood for the evening festivities in addition to all of the exciting parties taking place around the awards show. In addition to providing candles to many fans and performers during the weekend events in Nashville, TN, Country Music fans from across the country will have the chance to see the CMA Awards in a whole new light when they are treated to an exclusive, sneak-peek, backstage photo gallery on the Yankee Candle website www.yankeecandle.com ...something that they won't be able to see anywhere else.
