Oragenics May Sell or License Mouthrinse

2006-11-15 | 10:13

Biotechnology company Oragenics Inc. said Wednesday it hopes to sell or license its oral probiotic mouthrinse technology to allow the company to focus on research and development for its antibiotic candidate MU1140.

The company said the oral probiotic mouthrinse, called Probiora3, met its goal of reducing disease-causing bacteria, responsible for plaque and gingivitis, in a clinical trial.

Oragenics, based in Alachua, FL, focuses on developing oral health care products.
