Procter & Gamble Co. said Wednesday that it will resume selling its SK-II skin care products in China, after safety concerns prompted a two-month suspension.
According to a Reuters story, Procter will begin selling the products in December. It will roll out the SK-II line in a limited number of department stores in major cities, Reuters said.
In September, Procter halted China sales of SK-II, an upscale skin care line made in Japan, after a government quality control group said it found traces of metal in the products. Chinese authorities later upheld the safety of the products.SK-II is sold in 14 countries, including the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Australia.
