8th Antimicrobial Workshop, May 30-31, Arlington, VA

2007-03-29 | 12:51

The Eighth Antimicrobial Workshop will be held May 30-31 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, VA to provide the latest policy and procedural information crucial to the lawful marketing of antimicrobial pesticide products in the U.S.  Additionally, the Workshop will present updates on Canadian, Mexican, and California activities that impact the regulation of antimicrobial products.

Sponsored by the American Chemistry Council Biocides Panel, the Consumer Specialty Products Association and ISSA, the Workshop is the only one of its kind that speaks directly to the needs of antimicrobial registrants (i.e., manufacturers, formulators and distributors of antimicrobial pesticides).  The event is being held in coordination with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Antimicrobials Division.

Antimicrobials are a highly regulated product category, making it imperative for companies to be aware of the regulatory environment in which they operate.  The Workshop plenary sessions will emphasize evolving domestic and international policy issues that would help companies better anticipate and plan for changes and remain competitive in the marketplace.  Breakout sessions will focus on topics of interest to specific segments of the antimicrobial pesticide community.
