CoolTouch Awarded Patent for Cellulite Laser Treatment

CoolTouch Inc., a pioneering manufacturer of medical lasers announced today that the United States Patent & Trademark Office has allowed the patent Treatment of Cellulite with Mid-Infrared Radiation to CoolTouch Inc. The inventors of the patent are David R. Hennings, CoolTouch CEO and Mitchel P. Goldman, M.D., of La Jolla Spa MD. The patent covers the non-invasive and percutaneous treatment of cellulite and fatty tissue in a novel fashion, and is assigned to CoolTouch Inc. This method is implemented in the new 1320 nm CoolTouch CoolLipo laser system.
