Access Business Group Honors McIntyre

McIntyre recognized for product quality and on-time shipments

Access Business Group, a subsidiary of Alticor, Inc., selected McIntyre Group, Ltd. for its “Supply Chain Excellence Award” for 2007.

“This award is an annual award presented to the Access Business Group supplier who has demonstrated excellence in the supply of a material or service,” said Brian Kraus, director of strategic procurement. “McIntyre’s commitment to Access throughout 2006 was evident in its achievement of supply performance metrics on product quality and on-time shipment.”    

As part of the Annual Supplier Conference hosted by Access in Grand Rapids, MI on March 1, McIntyre was formally recognized by Jay Ertl, vice president of Product Supply, Mr. Kraus and the Access Business Group Strategic Sourcing Team.

“McIntyre’s approach in partnering with ABG is exactly the kind of collaboration Alticor wants from its top suppliers,” said Kraus.  

“We are innovating our approach to supply chain management itself, challenging our suppliers to play a major role in our ‘growth through innovation’ strategy by helping us find better ways to do things.”
