2007-08-01 | 10:28

Angelina Jolie attempted to stop a French perfume maker from naming her newest perfume “Shiloh.”

Angelina Jolie has dropped a legal battle over her and Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh. Ms. Jolie attempted to stop a French perfume maker, Symine Salimpour, from naming her newest perfume “Shiloh.”

The actress reportedly filed a notice at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office over the incident. Ms. Salimpour claimed the name of the scent was in no way related to Ms. Jolie’s daughter. Ms. Jolie ended the legal proceedings after five months.

Five percent of the profits from the perfume will go to an Israeli organization that provides medical care and education to disabled children.
