SEPAWA To Host Annual Meeting in Germany This October

From Oct. 10 -12, the Association of Soap, Fragrance and Detergent experts (SEPAWA) will hold its annual congress in Würzburg, Germany.
From Oct. 10 -12, the Association of Soap, Fragrance and Detergent experts (SEPAWA) will hold its annual congress in Würzburg, Germany. With 46 lectures and 130 exhibitions the association will feature the latest state of art in research, development, application, services and marketing. A highlight of the upcoming congress is the key-note lecture of Prof. Klaus Töpfer, who discusses future energy supply.
More than 1,400 participants are expected to come to Würzburg; 30% of which are from European countries outside of Germany and from overseas. This confirms of the development in recent years which has shown a 20% growth every year.
The 150 exhibitors from nine different countries present their products and services at 130 booths. Meanwhile, SEPAWA sections and expert groups have also been established in Benelux, Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia, and the Ukraine.
In the key-note lecture, Prof. Klaus Töpfer calls climate protection a “fascinating challenge.” The former environment minister and director of the UN-environment program will talk about the opportunities that he sees in connection with climate protection.
