Yankee Candle Company Sheds Some Light In The Fight Against Breast Cancer
Yankee Candle Company is taking action in the fight against breast cancer. The company created the Pink Ribbon Candle to support breast cancer awareness and research. The company is donating $1.00 from the sale of each pink ribbon candle, and 10% of the net proceeds from each Pink Ribbon Car Jar 3-pack, to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The delectate pale pink candles fill any space with the light fragrance of freshly cut roses and the car jars take the scent on the road, showing constant support for breast cancer survivors and those lost to the disease.
"Yankee Candle is honored to be a part of the fight against breast cancer by supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation," said Rick Ruffolo, senior vice president of brand, marketing, and innovation for Yankee Candle. "Supporting the fight against breast cancer is a very important cause to Yankee Candle and our Pink Ribbon Candle and Car Jar present a platform for Yankee Candle customers to pitch in and help support the National Breast Cancer Foundation."
As America's leading candle manufacturer, Yankee Candle provides the world's most desired assortment of premium-scented candles and offers an array of distinctive candle products for every occasion. "The National Breast Cancer Foundation is thrilled to have a brand like Yankee Candle help us in the fight against breast cancer," said Brent Hail, director of operations of NBCF. "Yankee Candle is an all-American company that helps bring much needed attention to a growing cause."
