Profit Boost at Henkel in Third Quarter

Henkel reported sales of $4.9 billion—an increase of 3% above the level of the prior-year period.
Henkel, marketer of a wide range of well-known consumer and industrial brands including Dial soap, Purex laundry detergent and Right Guard antiperspirants, reported sales of $4.9 billion, an increase of 3% above the level of the prior-year period.
Laundry and home care posted 4.3% in organic growth, while cosmetics and toiletries continued its positive trend, achieving a 7.3% increase.
