The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has appointed Alexandra C. Trower as executive vice president, global communications. She will report to Chief Executive Officer William P. Lauder.

A communications executive with more than 20 years experience in the financial services industry, Ms. Trower most recently was senior vice president, media relations for Bank of America.
