2008-10-07 | 01:51

Meets demand from marketers and consumers.

Chemisches Laboratorium Dr. Kurt Richter GmbH (CLR) is in the process of developing paraben-free materials for its cosmetic customers. John Lofthouse, director of global sales and marketing, explained that demand for paraben-free products continues to grow, and he predicted that within a year, the company will offer a wide range of paraben alternatives. CLR is one of 40 exhibitors at the IFSCC Congress in Barcelona.

At the same time, the company is posting good success with its lineup of natural products. For example, Cutipure CLR is a synergistic, polyvalent composition containing actives from chaulmoogra oil, black cumin oil, manuka oil and magnolia bark. The active has strong anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Cutipure CLR is said to reduce elavated sebum production, pimples, pustules and comedones.
